PROTAC® GASKETING SEALANTS
Gasketing sealants form impervious barriers which prevent leakage of fluids or gases, and provide corrosion resistant sealing.
Protac® gasketing compounds are available in a range of different viscosities, speed of polymerisation and resistance to shock, with excellent adhesion to materials normally used in mechanical assemblies. It is possible therefore to have ease of disassembly, while ensuring mechanical integrity against vibration and deformation of the joint.
The replacement of cut gaskets by anaerobic sealants provides ease of use and allows for the reduction in stocks of pre-cut gaskets, as well as a higher standard of assembly, eliminating metal-to-metal contact where there is no pre-cut gasket as well as adapting perfectly to the mating surfaces.
